B&B or short term holiday accommodation

Where no building work is required it may be as simple as your Building Surveyor issuing a new Occupancy Permit. However, we generally like to do an inspection for general health and safety compliance. We will also need to issue a maintenance statement which will need renewing annually and will require a follow-up inspection.

You should check with your local council’s planning officer before making an enquiry with us. A Planning Permit may be necessary.

If you would like to engage us to look at your proposed change of use we will need, at minimum, site plan, floor plan and elevations to scale of the existing building.
